The Hawk was rescued by a wildlife sanctuary, it had a broken wing. I think it is beautiful. If memory serves, this is a red legged hawk.

The kids had a blast in the Hammock at the Huntley Lodge in Big Sky. The Lodge was named after Chet Huntley of Huntley Brinkly fame before the national news on NBC became Nightly News if any of you can remember that far back! My dad worked for NBC and worked for Huntley Brinkley!! Just a little trivia that relates to nothing!

Feeling GREEN? A to Z photo letter G

Just so happens that my daughter's favorite color is green. She convinced me to paint part of her bath area green this past week while re-doing her room! So what better picture for the letter G than a picture of the Green Walls? I was mortified at first, but the green is growing on me!

When our nephew-in-law, Shawn, came to town our neighbor Ashley had never met him. However, Shawn had heard of Ashley's antics for a year. Ashley found this apron up in the closet of her grandma's house from some old gag party! Imagine Shawn's surprise when he met Ashley for the first time with this on!

Well, he couldn't pass it up, he had to put it on, an I couldn't resist snapping a picture!
